Broken

Haven't been putting anything up recently. Haven't had much to put up. However there is an explanation for it. And it's a good one.
In January i got a full time job in retail. Was working well for a few months, settling in and saving for my car frivolously. Then around the start of April I had to quit my job because of health reasons. It took a few months for me to have tests done etc and finally i worked out there was nothing wrong with me. Physically. Now I'm seeing a dietitian and she's helping me get back in working order.
Now you're probably thinking that in all that time i could have been shooting like like a crazy woman. However about a week before i quit the job my computer that got me thorough my course decided to take a holiday with me. So i still don't have my computer to work on. Nothing else to work with I had to leave the photographing for a bit. The good news is that now me and Himself are able to get a new computer and we should have that hopefully by the end of the month...HOORAY.
So here's looking forward to getting better, taking photos and having fun doing what i love.

Major and minor folio

So below is Night trains a shot out of my Major folio 'Structures of Brisbane, Gold Coast and in between'. It's a 40 image folio and the printed version is in magazine form.
Also below is a shot of Charlie the beagle who inspired my theme of my minor folio 'Smiles'. This was printed as a small hard cover coffee table book and was a 15 image folio.

ME

So thought I'd let you know a bit about myself to start off with. I love animals and love to photograph them. Im engaged to a very handsome big hearted fella. My brothers both use Olive scented body wash and I'm thinking of going towards it myself. Have just nabbed myself a fulltime job at Sussans so hopefully that works out. I haven't joined AIPP yet this year and im still a little undecided as weather or not to. I did have a job as a photography assistant for 2-3 mths last year but didnt work out but from it I learnt that I think I'd like WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY. I did a fulltime 2 year course in Photoimaging and now have a diploma from it. I did my major folio on Structures and my minor on dogs. So ill put the images up from those.
I decided to do this blog because 1) I can't afford a website not that i need one yet and 2) i wanted somewhere where i could put up my frequent shoots im planning on doing this year. Oh and Wendy told me to.
